Development of bio-impregnated lime for agriculture practice, agro-lime improvement with beneficial, nitrogen-fixing bacteria

Objective

The object is: development of a new lime-based soil-activator and bio-fertilizer by lime-treatment with selected beneficial, nitrogen-fixing bacteria in specialised units. The offered product and process can locally adapt, helping the general usage to improve the fertility of soils. The limited factors of this development were biological and economic problems. The biological problems can be overstepped by using wide range of specially selected tolerant strains of bacteria. The economic problems can exceed by developing locally adaptable treating process, and multiplication methods by using the targeted Demo Units. The targeted Units can set up at SME lime producers or distributors for low cost production. The expected result is: the multiplication of bacterial bio-fertilizer usage; the improvement of beneficial effects of the used lime; reducing chemical fertilization in farming systems and decreasing the fertilizer-based environment hazards; improvement of soil fertility and plant health.
