Redox enzyme variants for metabolic engineering through bioinformatics and directed evolution

Objective

Redo enzyme libraries will be created and cofactor specificity of especially the pintos utilisation pathway enzymes modified using data mining, homology modelling and directed evolution. The work is of value for metabolic engineering in general and in production of useful compounds from biomass.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)
