Support for participation by young scientists at the eaap annual meeting 1-4 september, 2002

Objective

This Proposal is to enable young animal scientists from Central and East European associate States with FP5 and 'Third States' of the Mediterranean Partnership associated with FP5 to participate at the Scientific Sessions of the Annual Meeting of the EAAP to be held at Cairo, Egypt, on 1-4 September 2002. EAAP operates a Scholarship Programme to support young scientists to attend and present a paper, to attend the conference sessions, symposia and roundtable discussions, and also to attend a course on Writing and Presenting Scientific Papers. The conference will have special relevance to the Mediterranean basin countries. EAAP wishes to increase the number of scholarships given, with particular emphasis on young scientists from the CEEC and Mediterranean basin states that are located geographically in the area where the Annual Meeting will be held.
