Transcriptome analysis of sulfur starvation in plants

Objective

The genes involved in the regulation of plant sulphur metabolism during sulphur starvation will be identified using a transcriptomic approach. Up/down regulation of these genes in transgenic plants and subsequent detailed molecular and biochemical analyses should reveal their precise function.
