Transcription coupled repair of uv-damage: influence of factors regulating transcription

Objective

The project proposed is focused on the study of the precise relationships among chromatin structure, transcription level, UV-induced DNA damage and its repair, at nucleotide level, in the endogenous promoter and coding regions of the MET16 gene of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
