Exercise system capable of evaluating human functional state during training and rehabilitation

Objective

Careful evaluation of physical condition during exercise, monitoring of physical exertion may reduce risk and increase efficiency of training actively. Presently, this is problem is resolved by qualified personnel evaluating physical condition before and during exercise. The overall objective is the training system capable of measuring, analysis, and predicting future developments of the functional state of a person, selecting training programme and monitoring it in the process of exercise. The system will increase safety during home-based exercise training and improve monitoring in fitness centres, athlete training facilities, or patient rehabilitation. The system will simultaneously evaluate the working periphery (muscles), supplying system (heart), regulatory system (central and humeral regulation). Novel organism function model and analysis algorithms will ensure advanced analytic and prediction capabilities. Flexible programme& exertion level regulation as well user-friendly interface will provide effective biofeedback.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
