Convergent techniques for computational neuroscience at sissa

Objective

The investigation of the operation of neuronal circuits, at the network level, in particular of common principles in the function and organization of sensory systems, using mathematical techniques from statistical physics, information theory, large scale multiple single unit recordings and analyses of simplified model systems.
