The project developed a web-based groupware system supporting asynchronous communication features, multilingual discussion fora and basic security mechanisms.
A venture was founded in 1998 to commercialise the software package resulting from the project and to provide appropriate maintenance support for service providers. At the end of 1998, the venture employed 8 people and subcontracted another 15.
