Objective

This valorisation project will disseminate guidance on the design of cold worked stainless steel structural members resulting from the recently completed ECSC project Structural Design of Cold Worked Austenitic Stainless Steel (7210-PR-318).

The deliverables include:
- 3rd Edition of the Design Manual for Structural Stainless Steel, extended to cover cold worked material and updated to refer to relevant parts of EN 1993. Three new design / cost comparison examples will be included. The Design Manual will be available in seven European languages.
- Online design facility for cold worked stainless steel members.
- Seven seminars throughout Europe.
