RDF PRODUCTION FROM SORTED WASTE AND COMBUSTION TEST WITH COAL.

Objective



THE AIM OF THIS RESEARCH IS TO EVALUATE POSSIBILITIES OF ENERGETIC VALORISATION OF VARIOUS FRACTIONS SORTED FROM URBAN WASTE AND TO OBTAIN ACCURATE DATA ON THEIR COMBUSTION WITH COAL.
THE RESEARCH PROGRAMME IS THE FOLLOWING:
- COMPLETE ANALYTICAL STUDY OF SORTED FRACTIONS;
- DEFINITION OF THE DIFFERENT FRACTIONS AND EQUIPMENT TO BE TESTED;
- PILOT PLANT PRODUCTION OF RDF;
- COMBUSTION TESTS WITH COAL, ACCORDING TO POSSIBILITIES OF MECHANICAL PREPARATION OF RDF (PULVERISED OR PELLETISED);
- COMPLETE EVALUTION OF THE THERMAL EFFICIENCY OF THE OPERATION;
- FINAL TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC REPORT.
