Objective
INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE RECYCLING OF MUNICIPAL WASTE BY COMBUSTION IN A FLUIDIZED BED FURNACE WILL BE CARRIED OUT. THE CONDITIONS OF CUMBUSTION WILL BE OPTIMISED WITH RESPECT TO A HIGH ENERGY YIELD AND AS LOW AN IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT AS POSSIBLE.
TWO DIFFERENT FRACTIONS (LIGHT- AND HEAVY FRACTION) OF MUNICIPAL WASTE AND TOTAL MUNICIPAL WASTE (AS RECEIVED) WILL BE INVESTIGATED.
THE RESULTS OF THE EXPERIMENTS WILL BE COMPARED WITH THE RESULTS OF RESEARCH CARRIED OUT ELSEWHERE IN SIMILAR FIELDS.
