Objective
THE PROJECT IS CONCERNED WITH THE CONTIOUS FERMENTATION OF ANIMAL WASTES (PIG SLURRY, CATTLE MANURE, POULTRY DROPPINGS, RABBIT MANURE), IN ADDITION TO FOOD PROCESSING WASTES.
THE VARIOUS STAGES OF THE PROJECT ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1)A SYNTHESIS OF THE DIFFERENT PARAMETERS INVOLVED IN ANAEROBIC DIGESTION AS REGARDS INDIVIDUAL SUBSTRATES AND THE OPTIMIZATION OF THE RUNNING OF A DIGESTER.
2)DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRIAL-SCALE INSTALLATIONS: APPLICATION OF THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM 1), CONCENTRATION OF DILUTE ANIMAL WASTE, DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONFIGURATION OF THE DIGESTER AND GASHOLDER, DEVELOPMENT OF ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF SUITABLE MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION, AND PARTICULARLY SURFACE COATINGS RESISTANT TO CORROSION.
3)OPTIMIZATION OF THE USE OF GAS: DIRECT USE FOR HEATING, DEVELOPMENT OF SUITABLE ELECTRICAL GENERATOR, ADJUSTEMENT BETWEEN PRODUCTION AND USE INVOLVING PURIFICATION, COMPRESSION AND STORAGE.
