LASER AND MAGNETIC RESONANCE SPECTROSCOPY OF DEFECTS IN SEMICONDUCTORS

Objective

It is proposed to study defects in semiconductors with the help of laser spectroscopy in combination with newly developed, time-resolved magnetic resonance techniques. The aim is to obtain a satisfactory understanding of the microscopic structure of the defects and the related electronic excitations about which very little is known at present.

Fields of science

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques.
