21 SMALL PV GRID CONNECTED HOUSES

Objective

To demonstrate and promote the use of small grid connected PV generators integrated into buildings in France.
The project has established a good co-operation with the French electricity utility.
The project involves the installation of 21 small grid connected PV generators on houses and buildings in 14 different regions of France. Of these, 18 systems have generators rated at 1.2 kWp, two rated at 1.8 kWp, and one rated at 3.6 kWp. In collaboration with the French electricity Utility EDF, all of the systems are fully grid-interactive and employ inverters rated at 1.8 kW. Hence extra modules can be added to the smaller systems in future to increase their energy output if required. The project includes a wide variety of user types, including private houses, local associations, companies and commercial groups.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
