SOLAR CAR PROJECT

Objective

The aim of the project is to implement a delivery system in a town utilizing electric lorries powered by a PV system connected to the grid.

A 95 kWp PV system connected to the public power grid provides power for lorries through the utility grid. The lorries weigh 1500 kg, have 72 V batteries (8 kWh capacity), max. speed 50 km/h, autonomy of about 50 km, consumption 16 kWh/100 km.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
