Objective
Recent litigation in the US industrial laundry market and tageted at the cleaning of workwear for the food industry, has created a rapidly expanding market for high technology laundry systems that can guarantee the level of garment disinfection. this project applies advanced technology research into standards, disinfection and traceability in laundry systems for clean environments. It provides the means for the EU SME industry to maintain its lead in high technology laundry systems, in response to the threat from the US industry which is now switching from low cost, low technology systems and is becoming more competitive throught the use of technology
