INTEROPERABLE TOOLS FOR COOPERATION SUPPORT USING THE WORLD-WIDE WEB

Objective

CoopWWW provides a comprehensive set of tools for efficient multimedia group cooperation using the Internet-based World-Wide Web, with an emphasis on professional technical and management needs in varied contexts. To this end, it will focus on assembly and integration of state-of-the-art technologies and their ongoing adaptation to field-tested user needs. The project result will support shared workspaces, turning the Web from a passive information system into an active cooperation medium. Among associated tools and services will be desktop conferencing, and interfaces to directories and business information systems.
