Objective
To prove safe operation of a new developed pile driver as mentioned above.
Tests have been completed successfully. A clear effect of rationalisation has been proved and by this a new pile driving equipment could be introduced into the offshore market.
Testing procedure grouped into three stages:
- operational test with underwater powerpack ashore at the menck plant in ellerau:
- submerging test with underwater powerpack at a harbour site:
- underwater pile driving test with the pile driver, incorporating the underwater powerpack, in course of a jacket installation offshore.
