Objective
A series of integrated measures to implement a complex goods transportation system in an area wthout a specifically planned development. These measures concern particularly the road and rail network, transportation means, traffic management, local clay quarries, definition of a monitoring station and of an operation centre. The so being more efficient transport system should save fuel (roughly estimated on 10% of the actual overall fuel consumption or 50000 TOE/yr.) and lower air pollution as derived outcome. Project is in design stage (concept/planning studies).
