EUROPEAN TRAVELLER CARE SERVICES

Objective

Systems concepts for intermodal baggage systems (including rail and flight) and intermodal information and guidance systems will be developed on the basis of market and user needs analysis. EUROTRACS starts with a series of market and concept studies to ensure that pilot systems developed at later stages of the project will be market driven, taking into account groups with special needs, such as elderly travellers. Besides processing data from study modules on system demand and supply, EUROTRACS will also examine legal, institutional and international considerations in issues like company policy, and devote special attention to interfacing between transport operators and EU countries.
