EUROTRACS has developed tools for an EU Traveller Service for baggage handling, provision of intermodal information and orientation in airports and train stations.
A system designed for long distance intermodal baggage handling and for intermodal information and orientation systems will be made commercially available, aimed at travellers in a multimodal transport chain (mainly rail-air). It involves German, French and Austrian railways; German and French air companies and Paris and Frankfurt airports.ne
