Objetivo

MULTITRACK pioneers a telematics system enabling carriers and other users to monitor the location and condition of goods or freight over an entire journey comprising sea, rail and road transport. Existing technologies for goods identification, fixed and mobile data communication, database handling and data relaying will be merged in a value-added network permitting reliable user-friendly access to the required information. Besides timing the different stages of transport, the system will be invaluable where knowledge of physical conditions is crucial, as in the case of dangerous or refrigerated goods.
