UDC developed an Adaptive Urban Cruise Control System for urban environments for the benefit of all urban traffic managers and road vehicle users.
An adaptive cruise control for cars in urban environments has been developed. It combines remote speed advice and autonomous longitudinal vehicle control. It will lead to harmonised traffic flows and increased driver comfort and safety. It has been fully tested in Turin. It will be made commercially available worldwide.
