STUDY OF THE OPEN-END-ROTOR SPINNING SYSTEMS AND THEIR SUITABILITIES FOR LINEN.

Objective

SPINNING OF NOVEL LINEN-YARNS ON OPEN-END-ROTOR SYSTEMS.

THE OPEN-END-ROTOR-SPINNING SYSTEMS, WHICH ARE APPROVED FOR COTTON AND MAN-MADE-FIBRES, SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO LINEN-FIBRES IN SPITE OF THEIR SPECIAL PECULIARITIES, SO THAT THE LINEN INDUSTRY CAN ALSO USE THIS NEW PRODUCTIVE AND ECONOMICAL TECHNOLOGY. BY SUITABLE PREPARATIONS THE LINEN-FIBRES ARE ADAPTED IN THEIR SPINNING QUALITIES AND DIMENSIONS FOR THE VARIOUS MACHINES AND ARE SPUN OUT AT A HIGH SPEED OF PRODUCTION FOR NOVEL YARNS, ALONE OR IN BLENDINGS WITH OTHER FIBRES.
