THE REALIZATION OF SAID EXPERIMENTS GIVES A SCIENTIFIC BASE IN PROTECTION AGAINST COLD, THROUGH CLOTHING. THE RIGHTY DETERMINATION OF SKIN TEMPERATURE AND HYGROMETRY GIVES OBJECTIVE DATA AND SCIENTIFIC RESULTS.
THE RESEARCH OF LANEROSSI LTD. HAS THE PURPOSE OF INVESTIGATING THE TREND OF SKIN TEMPERATURE AND TRANSPIRATION, IN FUNCTION OF PARTICULAR TYPES OF GARMENT CLOTHING IS EFFECTIVE AGAINST COLD WITH REFERENCE TO QUANTITY OF AIR IN ITS THICKNESS AND TO ISOLATION, WHICH PREVENTS THERMIC DISPERSION.
MOREOVER, A STUDY CAN BE USEFUL ON SKIN TRANSPIRATION, AS TOO MUCH CLOTHING PROVOKES TRANSPIRATION.
OBSERVATION AND MEASUREMENT METHODS:
IN ORDER TO MEASURE THE SKIN TEMPERATURE, WE SUGGEST TO APPLY A CERTAIN NUMBER OF THERMISTORS AND THERMOCOUPLES ON DIFFERENT SKIN AREAS. SO WE CAN READ UP IMMEDIATELY, THROUGH GALVANOMETER, THE TEMPERATURES. WE CAN ALSO APPLY HYGROMETERS FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF TRANSPIRATION.
CONTROLS: WE SUGGEST CONTROLS ON SUBJECTS AT REST. OTHER CONTROLS CAN BE MADE UTILIZING CLOTHING DIFFERENT FROM THE TYPE OF THIS STUDY.
