Objective
The project builds on achievements of COMBICOM I (Combined transport axis Rotterdam-Cologne-Verona):
- monitor the pilot implementation in full operation (user satisfaction, performance, reliability);
- foster links between COMBICOM and other DRIVE projects (METAFORA, IFMS);
- extend existing architecture to further transport modes (ferries; inland waterways);
- demonstrate solutions for tracking and tracing on an extended geographical corridor towards Greece;
- multi-consignment transport transaction;
- EDI linkage to harbour information systems;
- establish forum of CT operators, service providers and clients.
