Objective

The proposal is the installation of two Megawatt wind turbines (Nedwind N 53) in a remote area and the operation on a weak grid in Ireland. The wind turbines shall be equipped with a locally built concrete tower and a special lifting device for rotor and nacelle. New design of foundations.This technology is designed especially for erecting the turbines without heavy mobile cranes. The mean annual wind speed at the site is 7.5m/s in 40m height.
