Batteries for photovoltaic energy systems: problems and possibilities

Objective

The objective of the project is to disseminate the results of the achieved expertise in the Netherlands, concerning the use and deterioration of lead-acid batteries in photovoltaic applications, to dealers and users. The long term goal is a better performance and lower cost of autonomous photovoltaic systems.

The workprogramme is split up in three phases:

Phase 1: Translation of the achieved expertise to simple and practical information and recommendations.

Phase 2: Transfer of expertise in information meetings/workshops for dealers and end users.

Phase 3: Documentation of the information in the form of brochures and folders both in Dutch and English language.
