Objective
The State of Spain is composed of 17 regional entities known in Spanish as Autonomous Communities which have certain legislative, supervisory and administrative powers, many of which are concerned with energy mangement.
The aim of this work is to analyze the different renewable energy sources at regional level for each of the Autonomous Communities of the State of Spain and spread awareness of them though a communication channel with a broad level of distribution throughout the entire national territory.
To make a series of publications containing detailed, regional-level and uniform information for each of the Regions which are capable of achieving an extensive promotional effect and of arousing considerable interest among the sectors of economic activity currently linked to the renewable energies or likely to be so in the future such as end users, industrial users, equipment suppliers, etc. The specialist financial and economic daily 'CINCO DIAS' has been chosen as the most appropriate vehicle for spreading this information to such a broad target public thanks to its wide distribution and the prestige it has achieved with its issues monografic issues.
The first stage consists of the prepartion of one specific report by each of the 17 Regional Communities which must at least include the following aspects:
* Introduction, general economic data
* General energy situation
* Situation of the renewable energies
* Potential markets and resources
* Institutional framework
* Examples of installations
* Addresses of interest
Appropriate contacts with the Regional Authorities must be made for the work on these reports which must include the tasks of compiling, equalizing and complementing the information available.
The second phase consists of publishing 45.000 copies each of these reports in closed A-5 format or similar which should be no longer than 80 pages. Printing should be in four colours. Each of these publications will be handed out on consecutive days with the economic daily 'CINCO DIAS' at a small surcharge of approximately 0,5 ECU per copy.
