Objective
The main objective of this project is to develop an information campaign on renewable energy sources in two Portuguese regions: Alentejo and the North. This campaign is oriented towards the development of the regions in question, increasing the sustainable use of energy resources available, and promoting social and economic development at both local and regional levels.
The Alentejo and the Northern Regions of Portugal have endogenous energy resources.
Their use should be in accordance with greater awareness provided by publicity and training aimed at various 'actors' at local level. In this context, CCE started an information campaign on renewable energies targeted at local authorities and secondary schools. The information campaign on renewable energies covered the following points:
1.Definition of communication strategy.
2.Actions intended for the technical staff of local authorities.
3.Work with secondary school teachers.
4.Evaluation of the information campaign.
