Objective
To develop Energy efficiency indicators at sectorial level which are comparable among countries.
- Database on energy efficiency indicators at the disposal on line to all participants;
- Methodological paper on energy efficiency assesment (definition,calculation of indicators ...)
Objectives
- (i) Progressive harmonization of data collection for the need of sectoral energy efficiency assesment with reference to CO2 emissions, and management of the data in a common computer database regularly updated, for all EC member countries.
- (ii) Implementation of a common methodology for energy efficiency assesment on a cross country comparative basis.
- (iii) establishment of appropriate mechanism in order to confront on a regular basis the experiences of the various member countries in the field of energy assesment.
-Organization
- Ademe is the leading agency.
- Decentralized setting for data collection and expertise as welll as for the interpretation of ratios and indicators ( a network of partners );
