Objective
Realization of a mathematical model in order to evaluate the environmental impacts in the city of Turin according to the different scenarios of use of public transport vehicles and relating anti-pollution equipments.
To obtain evaluation tools to understand, measure and communicate the relationships concerning the environmental impact of strategies and projects carried out in the field of public transport in Turin and to arrange an information campaign for the citizens.
The project consists in the realization of a mathematical model in order to evaluate the economic and environmental impacts of measures aimed to the energy and environment optimization in the field of urban public transport.
The work programme foresees four phases:
1. analysis of urban public transport structure in Turin
2. formulation of an analysis model
3. analysis, by means of the model, of the environmental impacts in Turin as a result of activities and measures carried out by ATM
4. study of optimal solutions as to energy savings and environmental protection.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
