Third Part Financing; Identification and Study of Possible Obstacles; Promotional Measures

Objective

The aim of this project is to determine what steps should be taken to promote third party financing in Portugal, and to overcome any remaining reluctante on the part of the economic agents to use the system.
The results obtained upon completion of the proposed study should help to define a course of action and objectives which will help to eliminate some of the obstacles identified, and disseminate the system in Portugal.
It is intended that as a consequence of CCE's work in this area, adequate conditions will be created to encourage the adoption of third party financing for the private sector, both through organisations already working in this area, and through others set up in the future.
This project aims the appraisal and identification of possible obstacles to the third party financing system, mainly for the private sector, to penetrate in the portuguese market, and also the presentation of structural and legislative measures which allow these obstacles to
be eliminated.
