Sponsoring of the scientific evaluation of the "Programme to increase energy efficiency and reducing CO2-emissions"

Objective

Savings of electrical power of 5-10 MW and CO2-emissions with a vigorous DSM-pilot-programme of the Energy (utility)-group "Bayernwerk"; target gourps are SME, municipal bodies, who can use these DSM-energy services for their saving scheme.
- ProVEK will initiate energy savings (electrical capacity of about 5-10 MW) resulting in avoided CO2-emissions of 20-30.000 tons CO2 per year,
- User-friendly DSM-schemes for energy-consuming
- SME's and industry-dissemination and marketing, education and training are part of this strategy.
ProVEK is a 3-year-DSM-pilot-programme of the Energy Group "Bayernwerk". ProVEK offers individual energy audits (costs of saved energy, market strategies, DSM-tools, evaluation methods etc) to selected target/customer groups (hair dressers, SME, non-residential lighting consumers/customers and municipalities. Fees for services and audits are from 300-1500 DM.
ProVEK as a DSM-pilot-programme has a budget of about 20 Mil.DM part of it - the SAVE-project - is a evaluation of DSM-measures with these topics:
- estimation of real costs of saved energy with special interest on transaction costs,
- development of marketing strategies (energy management and savings) to increase consumer acceptance for new techniques,
- Analysis of the organisational issues of DSM in utilities (guidelines, training, implementation),
- strategies to training measures in utilities, SME and consumers.
ProVEK can be an additional part of the business of utilities on PC-based consulting (energy services, project management, financing, training, controlling and final evaluation).

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
