Objective
THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO DEVELOP A METHODOLOGY FOR THE MAXIMIZATION OF THE ACCEPTATION AND COST-EFFECTIVENESS OF ELECTRIC DSM PROGRAMS IN THE RESIDENTIAL AND SMALL SIZE COMMERCIAL SECTORS.
THE DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF THE MOTIVATION THAT COULD INCIDE IN THE INCENTIVATION OF RESIDENTIAL SECTOR TOWARDS DSM PROGRAMS ACCEPTANCE, WILL ALLOW THE DESIGN OF MORE EFFICIENT ACTIONS ON THE DIFFERENT GROUPS OF POPULATION. HOWEVER, PROBABLY THESE MOTIVATIONS ARE THE WORST KNOWN BY THE ELECTRIC COMPANIES. THE PROJECT USES EXISTING DATA FROM MARKET INVESTIGATIONS OF OTHER SECTORS MUCH MORE EVOLUTIONATED IN THE APPLICATION OF MARKETING TECHNICS WITH THE PURPOSE OF MAKING A SUITABLE QUALITATIVE/ QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY THE MOST RELEVANT ATTRIBUTES FROM THE ENERGETIC POINT OF VIEW, FOR EACH CUSTOMER TYPOLOGY. IN THIS STUDY, THE AMOUNTS OF kWH AND PEAK kW THAT CAN BE SAVED FOR DIFFERENT END USES HAVE BEEN EVALUATED BY MARKET SEGMENTS. DATA ABOUT THE EXISTING STOCK OF ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT AND THE PATTERNS OF USE OF THIS EQUIPMENT WERE OBTAINED. WITH THIS DATA, IT HAS BEEN ESTIMATED THE DISTRIBUTION OF CONSUMPTION BY END USES AND THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY POTENTIALS EXISTING IN THE SEGMENTS.
