Objective
This project intends to get accurate knowledge of the patterns of the use of energy and power, i.e. to know how much, when, how and in wich end uses the energy is consumed. The available information about the residential sector consists of statistical analysis (based on inquiries). The method used, metering, provide the highest precision of the results, wich permite to validate and complemente the existing data. The results will also permit to estimate the potential of load management on the load curve through energy savings or load shifting.
The proposed project consists of the following phases:
- Selection of the sample
- Installation of metering systems
- Monitoring of households
- Assessment of results and integration
