Objective
The aims of the pilotproject can be summerised as follows:
to (trans)form retailers of white goods into cetified retailers of energy efficient white goods by:
*supplying information about energy efficiency white goods.
* paying attention to assortment and range of energy efficient white goods.
* training retailers and salesman on sales techniques emphasing the energy efficiency
to supply information to consumers about the phenomena of 'spaarstroom adviseur'
to make consumers, on a pilot scale, familiair with the European energy labelling system in the Netherlands and Germany.
The project has comprises the following activities:
1) Defining marketing strategy and setting up operational plan.
2) Interviews with retailers chains and professional organisations
3) outlining a database with energy consumption of white goods.
4) developing auxiliaries for training
5) developing promotion means for retail outlets
6) setting up a public campaign
7) monitoring and evaluation
8) follow up of the pilotproject
