Scaling up of eHealth services

eHealth Innovation TN will develop consensus among stakeholders and recommendations to-wards making innovative integrated, and therefore interoperable eHealth services operational and deployed at large scale in Europe.The focus will be to analyse, achieve consensus on and deliver a detailed summary report on how to achieve in the medium-term more patient/person-centred health services for an ageing population, supported and facilitated by enabling innovative eHealth solutions and services - for instance, electronic patient records, personal health records and personal health systems aimed at supporting patients in managing their health. In this context, the impact and relevance on an EU-wide infostructure will also be examined. 4 thematic areas are addressed (revised after year 1, under guidance by the European Commission):1) Chronic disease management for an ageing population: identification of good practice and innovative solutions (M1-22)2) From integrated care towards co-production of health (M14-M23)3) eHealth solutions for patient-centred care (M20-M26)4) Relevance of an EU-wide eHealth infostructure: in cooperation with SemanticHealthNet NoE (M24-M27)The results will be integrated into a publishable final report (M1-M30).Metrics: 5 workshops will be organised around WPs 1-5, with at least 15 to 20 experts attending each, producing validated reports and recommendations on their respective topics.The network involves 22 partners: 20 from 10 Member States and 2 from Switzerland represent-ing a broad range of stakeholders.
