Objective

Deliverables

  • Logotype; Flyer and Press Release

Logotype; Flyer and Press Release on project. A project logo will be created suited to different uses and media. It will be particularly useful for the web portal, printed editions, oral presentations, promotional postcards, digital and physical exhibitions, and will be used by all partners.

  • Manual on 3D

St Andrews will facilitate workshops in community museums in all countries participating in the project, teaching family and community members to create 3D scans of museum objects (“community icons”) using photogrammetry. The manual will be provided in English and Spanish, and will be designed to be very user-friendly. These activities will encourage inter-generational engagement with local museums, and increase technical know-how and transferable skills for young people living and working in remote communities.

  • Report on 3D Workshops

St Andrews will facilitate workshops in community museums in all countries participating in the project, teaching family and community members to create 3D scans of museum objects (“community icons”) using photogrammetry. These activities will encourage inter-generational engagement with local museums, and increase technical know-how and transferable skills for young people living and working in remote communities.

  • Report on Roundtable of Santiago and Sustainability

Inform on the analysis of the Round Table of Santiago. Analysis and definition of the instruments to register and for the characterization of sustainability.

  • Review of region of the rivers network and case studies

Inform on the integral characterisation and systematisation of the comparable data and historical precedence of the network of Museums in the region of Los Rios and the selected case studies. The report will be made publicly accessible.

  • Web Portal online

Web Portal for the project, provided with three access levels: a. Open access (public access); b. Restricted access to each member in its respective area (consortium access); c. Restricted access to the direction of the project (webmaster access). This Portal will act as the communication platform: all users will have access to the materials produced by different partners. It will also be a place to share and discuss ideas about community museums and the way to disseminate objects, traditions and activities selected by and representing each community.

  • App; Youtube

Development of an app (application) for mobile phones, featuring the main aims of the project. This app will generally include short descriptions of the involved partners and community museums, their tangible and intangible heritage, object icons and major landmarks. Youtube videos created where appropriate. verification: www. registering.

  • Facebook; Twitter

Facebook and Twitter accounts will be set up for the project Web Portal. The extensive use of these and other possible social media, presumably originated in the course of the project, will be crucial, since the project is anchored in small communities, and this strongly recommends the recourse to technologies close to everyday life in peripheral environments.
