Project description
Cross-fertilisation of agri-food and forestry networks
Agriculture and forestry provide food, feed and non-food products for a wide variety of industries. They also provide social and economic benefits. In this context, the EU-funded EURAKNOS project will boost interaction between various agri-food and forestry networks. The overall aim is to widen existing thematic networks, both content-wise and in terms of geographical coverage. This cross-fertilisation will be organised between networks and among countries, regions and production systems. EURAKNOS will tackle data management with a view to ensuring the sustainability of these knowledge networks and maximise their outputs for end-users. It will also search for a harmonised approach for setting up future networks in order to maximise the impact on the practitioner, farmer and forester.
