Project description
New contract-based guidelines for agriculture
Agriculture may have positive effects on the environment if modern contract-based guidelines are followed. To ensure this is the case, new farmers should be motivated with economic incentives to align their production to environmental policies. The EU-funded Contracts2.0 project aims to ameliorate existing contracts in the farming industry and propose new ones based on synergies. It will adopt a six-step design thinking process to propose and validate novel contracts. The project will implement a SWOT analysis based on actual results, land possession and value chain approaches to identify weaknesses, as well as eventual opportunities and dangers.
