Project description
Strong partnerships secure the future of our European heritage
Changes in the political, technological, and socio-economic and environmental landscape impacts cultural heritage research and innovation (R&I). These new challenges require urgent solutions in terms of efficient protection, conservation and restoration, adoption of green technologies, advances in digitalisation and creation of growth and new jobs in the cultural heritage field. The EU-funded ARCHE project will build a solid foundation for a European partnership in cultural heritage R&I based on a holistic framework. It will develop a coordinated R&I network engaging scientists, creators and professionals from Europe and associated countries for a joint effort to enable transnational collaboration and involve all stakeholders and funding mechanisms related to cultural heritage R&I policy and action.
