The European Commission, DG XII, has published an invitation to tender relating to a study on the evolution of multilateral public RTD schemes in Europe. The aim is to ensure a better understanding of the evolution of the existing multilateral public RTD schemes (MPRS) and their interaction with one another and with the EU's RTD Framework Programme. The study to be launched should provide the basis for this understanding by: - Identifying the key characteristics of MPRS and the main factors shaping their evolution; - Analysing the evolving interactions between the individual MPRS, as well as between the EU Framework Programme and the MPRS; - Integrating the findings in a comprehensive conceptual scheme to be used as a support for discussions by policy-makers. For further information and documents relating to the tender, please contact: European Commission DG XII - Science, research and development Mr H.-U.
