State aid: France, Belgium, Luxembourg
The Commission of the European Communities publishes authorization for State aid, pursuant to Articles 92 and 93 of the EEC Treaty, with regard to the following RTD-related projects: - France (Reunion): Redevelopment of private enterprises to enable local firms to enhance their research capacities (STRIDE programme, ECU 3.14 million part-financed by ERDF and ESF); adjustment of SMEs to Community standards, to enable local businesses to invest in waste disposal equipment to Community standards (ENVIREG programme, ECU 0.18 million part financed by ERDF); Cyclone protection for industrial and craft structures (REGIS programme, ECU 4.2 million part financed by ERDF). - Belgium (Wallonia): To assist development of endogenous potential (ECU 12.58 million) and the promotion of technological innovation (ECU 16.38 million), 1992-1993. - Luxembourg: Regional measures to improve the research, technology and innovation capacities of firms in Esch-sur-Alzette and Capellen (ECU 865,000 during 1992-1993).
