Introducing a new design for the CORDIS website

As it enters its 25th year on the web, the CORDIS website has got a great new look! The new design aims to improve your user experience by making it easier to find the information most relevant to you and to highlight the many multilingual articles and publications that bring EU research results to the professionals who can use them and drive them forward.

The new homepage invites you to browse the latest News, Results in Brief, Research*eu magazine and CORDIS Results Packs or provides you a thematic search based option on research projects' specific domain of application. A single search service helps you to dig deeper into decades of EU-funded projects, results and articles, with a transparent range of filters to help narrow your search. The H2020 Collaboration Network remains your best way to visualise on a map how organisations are linked together across the world. The top level menu on all pages continues to lead you to redesigned entry pages for Projects & Results, News & Events, Research*eu magazine (including the recently revamped print edition), a simplified "About" section and a new homepage to browse all 30 thematic CORDIS Results Packs produced to date. Project factsheets have evolved into a veritable ecosystem, so you’ll be able to see at a glance all of the information that CORDIS holds: the core grant agreement details, project participants and their physical location, the project's Result in Brief (if available), as well as any reports, deliverables, publications, news and multimedia. A new technical web framework also allows CORDIS to display responsively and with high standards of accessibility on mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. However, you'll notice that work is still in progress and not all parts of the website have been redesigned yet. Services that require a user account are still running on the previous platform but don’t worry, they continue to work as before. CORDIS Wire, magazine subscriptions, email notifications, PDF booklets and My Account will all be redeveloped during 2019. Many design decisions have been driven by the thousands of replies we’ve received from our readers through our regular surveys in recent years. We hope the new website brings CORDIS closer to your needs and we are looking forward to continuously improving this new platform. Let us know what you think of the new site through our Twitter account(opens in new window) or get in touch with our Help Desk. We’re always happy to receive any and all feedback!
