TETRAMAX offers new opportunities to innovate in low-energy computing

Do you have a great idea to innovate in low-energy computing? TETRAMAX launched the 2nd calls for Bilateral and Value Chain Oriented and Interdisciplinary Technology Transfer Experiments (TTX).

First TETRAMAX Technology Transfer Experiments kicked off The first calls for Technology Transfer Experiments resulted in some promising collaborations. If you would like to see an example of an experiment in the starting blocks from TETRAMAX first Bilateral call, check out this video on 'Carrots' (https://t.co/ZV5AaDe8po) a project joining Tomappo, a digital gardening assistant enabling anyone to grow their own vegetables and the Lifely’s social sensor, which will be customized for use with Tomappo. This could be the start of a new product-dimension for Tomappo and Lifely. New open calls TETRAMAX is welcoming proposals for 2 new calls to experiment with low-energy computing solutions: 1. Bilateral Technology Transfer: Joining an academic (or SME) partner with an industry partner to experiment with a particular novel hardware or software technology in the domain of Customized Low- Energy Computing (CLEC) for cyber-physical systems (CPS) and the Internet of Things (IoT), both from a different EU country. The industry partner can adopt and deploy this technology to enable innovative products or processes. Funding is up to €50 000. 2. Value Chain Oriented and Interdisciplinary Technology Transfer Experiments: application experiments with three or more partners. One technology provider who can transfer a novel low-energy computing technology to a second partner, a manufacturing company. This technology receiver intends to experimentally use the new technology to enable improved products, processes or services. In case, the developed technology could be generalized and applied to other industries as well, a third specialized partner could engage as a "catalyst". Funding is up to €100 000. Would you like to know more about the open calls? Take a look at our website: www.tetramax.eu/ttx/calls Brokerage portal To facilitate even more collaboration opportunities, TETRAMAX built a Technology Brokerage network page (www.tetramax.eu/brokerage/) , offering a service to SMEs, mid-caps and other companies to use the network to identify digitization technology suppliers all across Europe, but also the academic research institutions can find a way here to effectively offer their new technologies to European industries. The TETRAMAX project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement number 761349.
