Put yourself forward for the EU’s Horizon Impact Award!

Has your EU-funded project had a noticeable societal impact? Has your project contributed to a better understanding of our society, politics and/or environment? If so, then you have the opportunity to win a prize of EUR 10 000.

The Horizon Impact Award aims to show the wider socio-economic benefits of EU investment in research and innovation, enabling individuals or teams to showcase their best practices and achievements. But it’s not just a cash prize – oh no, winners will also have the opportunity to feature in a professional video highlighting the project’s success, will be personally invited to the award ceremony in Brussels with the chance to network with high-level participants from business, finance and innovation (up to 4 000 attendees!), and will gain wide media exposure and public interest in your achievements. Does that sound good to you? If you think your FP7 or Horizon 2020 project could be eligible, then we encourage you to begin working on your application! The deadline for Horizon Impact Award applications is 28 May 2019. Most crucially, you’ll need to demonstrate the effective valorisation and uptake of your R&I results.
