Environmental policy in applicant countries
A study is required by the European Commission, DG XI, to assess environmental policy in countries applying for EU membership in the perspective of EU environmental policy. An invitation to tender has been issued for a study which would cover issues linked to the legal transposition of the environmental acquis, the state of the environment and environmental policy in applicant countries, institutional structures within the field of environment, and the implementation and enforcement of environmental rules.
