The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions has launched an invitation to tender for a report on its research on time issues. The Foundation has carried out a vast number of studies relating to time issues, especially working time and non-working time issues, during the 1980s and 1990s. Most projects centre on working time, covering BEST, legal and contractual limitations to working time, reduction of working time, part-time work, time preferences (work options of the future), time constraints and EIRO. Other projects have focused on non-working times or on the relation between working and non-working times, including time in the city, domestic work, linking family and work, and gender and time. The study now required will be expected to: - describe the main findings from the Foundation's research; - provide an analytical framework to facilitate consolidation and assess further research in the field; - consolidate these findings. The report should be a maximum of 40 pages, written in English or French. The maximum budget allocated is 30 000 euro.
