Fourth Quality of Life Bulletin now available
Some 1748 proposals were submitted for the second deadline of the first call for the European Commission's Quality of Life programme, according to information published by the programme's fourth bulletin, which is now available. Following evaluation, the Commission has entered into negotiations with the coordinators of 236 projects. Meanwhile, the 808 proposals submitted in time for the first deadline for the Quality of Life programme's second call have been evaluated and coordinators should expect to receive notification of the outcome during the summer. The bulletin also includes updates on recent developments of relevance to the Quality of life Programme, such as the debate on the European Research Area, the setting up of a life sciences high level group, the launch of a 'Bio-society' website and recent project results.
